Parallel Socks

Oh boy has this sock been a royal pain in my behind. I just couldn't get the pattern to set back up on the sock. I finally gave up on it after the 4th ripping session and decided to just make the foot in plain stockinette stitch. I'll try to get the pattern to work up right next time. I think it has something to do with the fact that it's an 8 st repeat and the instep stitches after the heel flap are 36 which is not divisible by 8. I'll get it figured out with the next pair of sock now that I know the problem.
Well I'm off to go stuff goodie bags, pick up a cake, and get the kids ready to head over to the bowling alley for the party. I'll post a couple of pics from her party later on this evening.
